What is a DVR?

A DVR stands for a Digital Video Recorder. DVR allows you to watch your favorite shows way past their watch time. It lets you record any TV show or program and watch it later whenever it is convenient for you. It also lets you rewind to watch important parts and you can fast-forward the part that you don’t want to watch. You can create your own instant replays and also pause the show for a short break. It is like watching your favorite shows in full convenience.

Record Up to Six Shows at Once

With DVR service on Xfinity TV X1 you can record up to six TV shows or programs at once. You can schedule a TV program, series, or sports shows to record beforehand, and manage your recordings from any of your X1 devices. Apart from the multiple recordings you can watch the recordings on any TV in the house. The DVR option comes with all Xfinity TV plans and is super convenient if you want TV with convenience.

Record Hundreds of Shows

The DVR option on Xfinity allows you to record and store hundreds of TV shows, since it has plenty of space so you don’t have to keep clearing it up to make space for other shows. The oldest recording from your storage will be deleted. Recordings can be stored for one year, but if you exceed your storage limit, you oldest recordings will be automatically removed. You can also delete recordings yourself, and just in case if you accidentally removed recordings, they can be restored from the Deleted section. You can always restore old recordings if they are not Permanently Deleted
